The North American Envirothon (NAE) is taking place from July 24-29, 2016 at Trent University in partnership with Forests Ontario in Peterborough, Ontario. The NAE is a team-based competition for high school students who are passionate about the outdoors. It challenges students across North America to learn more about our relationship with the natural world by providing hands on workshops taught by leaders in the environment. Students are tested on what they learn - competing for the championship title!
The NAE will be bringing over 50 states and provincial championship teams together, and this is your chance to see over 500 of the brightest and passionate future green leaders from across the continent. There are lots of ways to get involved!
ELB will be at the NAE on July 27th. We will host a trivia night for participants and need more questions! Please submit your questions today.
Represent ELB as a Presentation Judge on Thursday, July 28th. This is a great opportunity to see what the students learn throughout the program, and you will play an important part in determining the top team! We are looking for scientists, naturalists, policy leaders, community members, and anyone who has a general interest in supporting our youth - experience not necessary and training will be provided! A presentation judge at the NAE will look great on a CV, sign up today!
